Medication abortion - the abortion pill

A medication abortion, the abortion pill, is two drugs taken in separate doses (one at the clinic and one at home.) Another name for the abortion pill is a medical or chemical abortion. It is usually taken between 4-6 weeks, but it is FDA-approved up to 10-11 weeks after a woman's last menstrual period (LMP).
