Sexual Health and STI Testing

The staff at Metro Women's Care believes uncommon compassion is just as important as our medical credentials. All our STI testing is done by licensed healthcare professionals with results within two days. If you test positive for Chlamydia or Gonorrhea, our clinic will provide free treatment.

At this time, we can provide free testing and treatment for Chlamydia and Gonorrhea as a part of a pre-abortion consultation or alongside a pregnancy testing appointment.

Experiencing STI Symptoms?

Some of the most common symptoms of an STI include, but are not limited to:

  • Unusual discharge or strong odor

  • Itching or irritation

  • Pain during intercourse or urination

  • Unexplained rash

Reasons To Get Tested For STIs Before an Abortion

1. If you’ve had a change in partners or unprotected sex, getting tested should be one of the first things you do.

2. If you have experienced itching or burning in your pelvic area or any of the above-mentioned STI symptoms, you need to get tested before engaging in any sexual activity.

3. Rule out or treat an infection before taking any drugs or continuing with a surgical procedure. This can prevent further complications.

Your health and safety are our priority. If you think you may be pregnant or are considering an abortion, reach out to get tested today.
